Ordering, Delivery & Returns

Please note we are an online order company only, unfortunately, we cannot take orders over the telephone.

Orders placed Monday to Friday before 12.00 noon will processed that day. Orders will then be despatched and delivered within 3 working days.

Orders placed after 12.00 noon Monday – Thursday will be processed the next working day, despatched and delivered within 3 working days. Orders placed after 12 noon on a Friday and over the weekend will be processed on a Monday. Please note we receive a lot of orders on a Monday due to the Weekend orders, so orders may take a little longer to be processed and despatched.

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands & Scottish Islands can take between 2-5 working days from dispatch and are subject to a minimum order value. See below  for more details.

We work closely with our courier to provide the best possible service, ensuring your items are carefully handled and delivered in perfect condition. 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT DELIVERY NOTICE FROM OUR COURIER.

Our courier, DPD will only attempt 2 deliveries of your Food4wildbirds order.

Please leave details of a safe place* to leave your parcels when ordering – in case you are not going to be home - otherwise after 2 attempted deliveries our courier will deliver to a Pickup shop. A calling card will be left by the driver through your door informing you of this you will then have seven days to collect your order before it is returned to Food4wildbirds.

 When placing your order you can choose safe place* delivery with neighbour etc, however Drivers cannot leave in a safe place on   their own accord.

PLEASE NOTE – Our courier delivers Monday to Friday. We cannot arrange for deliveries at the weekend. Our courier does deliver to some areas at the weekend but this is at their discretion.

Delivery Charges

FREE delivery on orders £25.00 and over to mainland England, Wales & the Scottish Lowlands.
£3.95 delivery charge on all orders under £25.00 to mainland England, Wales & the Scottish Lowlands.
Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands.

Delivery charge of £7.95 and a minimum order value of £50 are applicable for the following areas, in order to make supply viable due to higher delivery costs from our carrier.

Scottish Highlands  -AB36-38, AB55-56,FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, Scottish islands ( HS1 – 9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3)

Returns Policy

Defective Items

You can always return items that are defective, Please note: we only accept returns items that have been opened if they are defective. Please see below for details of how to return defective items to us.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective we will be happy to replace the item or refund the full cost on return of the goods which we will arrange collection of via our carrier.

Returning of unwanted goods.

Refunds for unwanted goods may be subject to a 20% handling fee at our discretion but all carriage costs will be the customers responsibility.

All goods should be packed in their original packing and wrapped securely.

All carriage costs of the goods being collected will be charged to the customer even if we are delivering another order to you. This is because we will be charged by our carrier for all deliveries and collections.

This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Order cancellation.

Cancellation of an order once placed may be subject to an administration fee at our discretion.
