Long Tailed Tit

The long-tailed Tit is found across the UK except the far north & west of Scotland. They can be seen flocking with other Tits during the winter. Gregarious and noisy bird found in UK all year round.
Identification
- Adult
- Crown white with bold black stripes over the eyes extending to black back. Wings are black & white with broad pink band across upper edge. Tail is black with white outer feathers. Underparts are white with pink undertail.

- Lacks pink undertail converts and has a black sooty head.
