Willow Tit - Parus montanus
Very closely related to the Marsh Tit and found in similar habitats. Larger white cheeks, more diffuse black bib and its dull black cap distinguish it was the Marsh Tit.
Wren - Troglodtes troglodytes
The Wren is found across the whole of the UK all year round. Least abundant in Scotland and northern England, with smallest numbers found in uplad areas. Easily recognised by its small size abd cocked tail.
Yellow Wagtail - Motacilla flava
This slim, elegant summer visitor can be seen late March to September time in central and eastern England, eastern Wales, & south ern Scotland. A good place to look for them is lowland grasslands where cattle are being grazed.
Yellow Hammer - Emberiza citrinella
Found across the UK all year round but less abundant in the north and west and absent from some upland areas, such as Pennines, and Highlands of Scotland, inner Hebrides and Orkneys.
