The tree sparow can be seen all year round. Its scarcer in the uplands, and far north & west of the UK. The main populations are found in the Midlands, southern & eastern England. |

Smaller than the house sparrow, but with both sexes showing great similarities. Crown of chocolate brown, tiny black bib, black cheek spot on white cheeks. The Tree Sparrow has a white half collar, white underparts and a tail thats almost permanetly cocked. |
