Blackbird - Turdus merula

The Blackbird is one of the most familiar of british birds, and is common to woodlands, fields and garden across UK & Ireland. The blackbird is quiet at home both in the town and the country.

Blackcap – Sylvia atricailla

The Blackcap is a delightful song bird which is often compared with the Nightingale. Frequents open deciduous or mixed woodlands with well – developed undergrowth, can also be found in large mature gardens but tends to keep well hidden among the vegetation. Widespread summer visitor to most of UK except in the extreme northern & western Isles of Scotland. Scarce winter visitor to southern England and south – eastern Ireland. 

Blue tit  – Parus caeruleus

The Blue tit is one of the most attractive, commonest of the tit family that's resident in your garden. They are particularly attracted to gardens that offer them peanuts in a feeder. They readily breed in nest boxes if you site them in a suitable location in your garden, and are frequent visitors to the garden bird bath. They can be seen across the whole of the UK.

Bullfinch – Pyrrhula pyrrhula

The Bullfinch is an unmistakable visitor to your garden and can be seen all year across the UK with the exception of the far north & west of Scotland.

Chaffinch – Fringilla coelebs

The Chaffinch is the UK's second commonest breeding bird and the most colourful of the UK finch family. It can be seen across the whole of the UK. 
 

Coal tit – Parus ater

The Coal tit is the smallest of the tit family and not as colourful as some of its relatives. It can be seen across the UK except far north and west of Scotland. 

Crested tit - Parus critatus

The crested tit is not as colourful as the other tits. Its largely confined to ancient Caledonian pine forests and Scots pine plantations and is attracted to broken tree stumps and scattered birches.
 

Dunnock - Prunella modularis

The Dunnock is a quiet unobtrusive bird seen in gardens and woodlands. Its resident throughout the year in the UK, except in the Shetlands.
